Return & Refund Policy

At Vessel, we want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, we're here to make it easy.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition
  • With all original tags still attached
  • In the original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

2. Eligible Reasons for Return

We accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Item arrived damaged or defective
  • Wrong item sent
  • Item significantly different from the description on our website
  • Item did not fit (size exchange or refund — see Section 6)

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Underwear, swimwear, and intimate apparel (for hygiene reasons)
  • Items marked as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase
  • Gift cards

4. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@vessel.com with subject line "Return – Order #[your order number]"
  2. Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged or incorrect
  3. We will respond within 2–3 business days with return instructions
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product), we will cover the return shipping cost.

If you are returning for personal reasons (e.g. change of mind, wrong size ordered), the return postage cost is your responsibility.

6. Refunds

Once your return is received and approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after approval
  • You will receive a confirmation email when your refund is issued

Please note: original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

7. Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange an item for a different size or colour, contact us at support@vessel.com. Exchanges are subject to availability. If the item is out of stock, we will issue a full refund instead.

8. Consumer Rights (UK)

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are not affected by this policy. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it without giving a reason (cooling-off period).
